BMW Motorrad opens a new chapter in electric mobility and zero emissions with the C evolution. It has a real range of 100 ideal for getting around the city kilometers.
The rated power is 11 kW (15 hp) and maximum power is 35 kW (47.5 hp). Reaches a top speed of 120 km / h (limited electronically). It has a maximum torque of 72 Nm. If the battery is discharged it may be recharged in a household outlet in about 4 hours.
In the case of C evolution, energy when decelerating and braking recovers, something never seen in two-wheelers.
The driver can choose between four driving modes:
- Road mode: maximum capacity of acceleration, 50% recovery when decelerating and 100% recovery when braking.
- Eco Pro mode: acceleration capacity is limited and thus reduces power consumption. The resilience is maximum.
- Sail mode: no energy is recovered during the deceleration phase.
- Dynamic Mode: For a style more fun with the maximum capacity of acceleration and driving recovery.
The new C evolution has the control system torque (TCA, Torque Control Assist). The TCA system limits the torque according to the slip of the rear wheel. If rotates at a speed that the system considers dangerous, the torque reduction occurs. The TCA system helps the driver especially when starting, preventing the rear wheel skidding on wet roads for example.
This vehicle innovates by including an auxiliary gear to drive back. Another novelty is that it has a daylight luminosos.Esa same light diodes, is used as a position light. For cold days, fists are heated.
The type TFT color display and large, installed on the dashboard, provides a wealth of information.
