Here is the slight facelift Mazda3: From time to Japan

The Mazda Axela, known practically all over the globe as Mazda3 just received a facelift in a few months should extend well beyond Japan's borders. The changes have been so small that it costs a lot to find the differences with the current model.

Already available in Japan, the most "important" changes are on the front grille and the interior design of the headlamps, premiering daylighting system LEDs. At the rear it has also incorporated a new bumper although typically forms remain very similar to those of the still current model.

In the passenger compartment it has been added a new multifunction steering wheel and new decorative applique for the dashboard and door panels appear. Biggest news is the arrival of electric parking brake to be available at levels most complete finish, keeping the manual in the simplest.

Other changes are not seen, such as those made in the direction that now the G-Vectoring Control to ensure a deal exemplary torque curves and acceleration phases combined system. More interesting is the arrival of all-wheel drive to all four wheels for the 2.2 SKYACTIV-D 150 hp, an option that unfortunately seems to have no place in Europe.

The other engines remain as before but for Japan itself is new arrival small SKYACTIV-D 1.5 with 105 hp that is already sold in Europe and that there is linked to the automatic gearbox six speeds. The presentation of the renewed Mazda3 could take place in the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
