Not long ago we tested the Toyota 86, a model now comes with a partial redesign has focused on producing a maximum driving pleasure. Toyota believes that motorsports are a crucial base to convey the excitement of driving and, through Toyota Racing GAZOO, the company focuses on the development of both staff cars later then offered in the market.

First launched in 2012, the GT86 has appeared in various motor sports, including the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, in rallies and of course, with customers races.

In collaboration which came the GT86 and Subaru BRZ is aimed at creating a single rear-wheel drive model with intuitive operation and maximum driving pleasure. Improvements in intake and exhaust system (on manual transmission models) -in particular in the intake and exhaust-have resulted in an increase in the speed range torque. If we opt for the manual version of the FA-20 1,998 cc, 152 kW talk about [207 hp] / 7000 rpm and 212 Nm of available between 6,400 and 6,800 rpm. If we opt for the automatic transmission 147 ECT talk about a power of 200 hp at 7000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque between 6,400 and 6,600 rpm. Not only is an improvement prestacional but in terms of delivery of it.

The GT86 now boasts an improved suspension and greater rigidity of the body due to an increase in the number of welding points on the rear pillars. This increased rigidity results in excellent steering response and ride comfort.

Throughout the design changes have been practiced for improving the aerodynamic performance, which improves roadholding. The modification of the wing is in an excellent aerodynamic performance. Refined bumpers have now also improve aerodynamics.

The Bi-Beam LED projectors are fitted as standard on all models, while the fog lamps are now also LED, but are equipped depending on the finish. The taillights also make more extensive use of LEDs.

The instrument panel has been modified and depending on the finish now offers a TFT color screen 4.2 "and as a cuentarevoluciones expanded. In addition to a full trip computer model also debuts meter G forces, a power curve and torque, a stopwatch and more.
